Venue

Great Hall
A fine example of Gothic architecture and the location for the University of Leeds’ ceremonial activities, the Great Hall provides the perfect setting for the symposium talks and public lecture.

Parkinson Court
Located within the grade II listed art deco Parkinson Building – itself the University’s ‘signature’ building – the versatile Parkinson Court will be in use for registration, an exhibition showcasing some of the University’s research and an evening reception.

Refectory
It has played host to some of the biggest rock bands and musicians of the past 40 years and you’ll see some photographic reminders of them as you take in the buzz of the Monday evening posters, networking and pizza session – widely considered one of the highlights of the Astbury Conversation!
